Travel

WhatsApp: we’ll have a WhatsApp group to co-ordinate travel requests and information beforehand.

By train: The venue is 2 miles away from Dronfield train station. You could get a taxi to the venue, or else we’ll pick you up if we can. It’s a pleasant walk if you’re up for that. The venue is 6 miles away from Chesterfield train station. Take a taxi, or else the local bus to Crow Lane, or maybe you’d be able to get a lift from folks coming from the Sheffield area.

By car: Access by car is pretty straightforward. The venue is not far from the M1, and is 8 miles from Sheffield.

By bus: There is a bus from Chesterfield, about 8 miles from the venue. Hopefully we will put some more info here.

Cooking

All cooking will be done by our wonderful caterering team whom we have hired again. All participants will however be asked to help clear away and wash up after meals. We’ll have a rota for this. There’ll also be a slot before meals to set up and do any light kitchen duties. This helps us keep the costs down.
The rota slots will not clash with workshop times.
